Our work with the Dalton Trust reflects Koop Design’s holistic architectural, furniture design and interior finishing offering.

Koop has designed architecture for all infrastructural farm buildings plus the design and roll-out of luxury accommodation for the Trust’s investor in THE BARN.

Koop's relationship with the Dalton Trust started in 2003. Over the years the Trust has purchased a series of cattle farms in the Estcourt area of KZN and removed boundaries between the properties in order to restore game and indigenous flora.

A large percentage of Dalton Trust employees are from neighbouring communities, trained to form wattle stripping teams, game management, administrative and security staff, and construction and wood working teams.

Our mutual social and environmental philosophy has led to a range of Koop furniture designs being handmade by the Dalton Trust woodworking team in THE FURNITURE WORKSHOP using alien timber harvested and dried in solar kilns on the property.
